Typology of Fences

Typology is an approach to photography where not the individual picture is particularly meaningful, but where the collective effect of a series of pictures is creating meaning and context. I am using this approach to portray the way my enviroment in Hong Kong was obstructed by fences. Especially the grounds of City University are extremely well contained and secured with 3 meter tall fences and barbed wire on the top. To achieve a more alike look of the images I am using a tilt-shift lens and place it parallel to the fence for a strikingly orthographic perspective.
